Grocery Store Yes/No
Grocery Store Yes/No is a fun, practical exercise that strengthens somatic awareness and intuitive decision-making. Designed to help you listen to your body’s subtle cues, this activity turns an everyday task into a meaningful exploration of your intuitive responses.
The practice is simple: while shopping, pick up an item – like a piece of fruit or any product -and hold it near your belly. Close your eyes if you feel comfortable and take a deep breath. Focus on how your body reacts. Do you feel a sense of lightness, expansion, or ease? That’s your body’s “yes.” Or do you sense tension, contraction, or discomfort? That’s your “no.” This exercise invites you to trust these signals as valid, intuitive messages.
Try this with different types of produce or other items in the store to hone your ability to recognize your body’s reactions. Over time, this practice builds confidence in somatic awareness, helping you apply these insights to more complex decisions beyond the grocery store. By tuning into your body’s natural responses, you cultivate a deeper connection to your intuition and learn to navigate choices with greater trust and clarity.
