Journaling after a session
Journaling After a Session is a practical exercise that encourages trainers to reflect on their use of intuition during training sessions. By capturing these moments in writing, trainers can identify patterns in intuitive decision-making, deepen their self-awareness, and build confidence in their intuitive abilities.
After each session, set aside 5–10 minutes in a quiet space to write a short reflection. Focus on moments where intuition guided your decisions or influenced your interactions with the group. For example, note any gut feelings that helped you choose an exercise, adapt your approach, or respond to a challenging situation. Record your thoughts freely, without worrying about structure or grammar – this is a personal exercise for self-discovery.
Over time, these reflections can reveal recurring themes and insights, helping you better understand how intuition supports your work. This practice not only strengthens your intuitive skills but also encourages continuous growth and adaptability as a trainer.
This resource is inspired by Julia Cameron’s Morning Pages exercise from The Artist’s Way, which encourages reflective journaling to foster creativity and self-awareness.
