Silent meditation
Silent Meditation is a practice designed to help trainers access deeper intuition by creating a calm and focused state of mind. This exercise involves sitting quietly for 30 minutes before a session to allow intuitive insights to surface.
To begin, find a comfortable, quiet space where you can sit undisturbed. Sit with your back straight, your feet flat on the ground, or in a comfortable cross-legged position. Close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a moment, and exhale slowly through your mouth. Focus on the natural rhythm of your breathing, allowing your thoughts to drift without judgment.
As distractions arise, gently bring your attention back to your breath. With practice, this meditative stillness creates space for deeper awareness and intuitive thoughts to emerge. By calming the mind and letting go of distractions, you can tap into your inner wisdom and approach your session with clarity, presence, and confidence.
This resource is inspired by Jon Kabat-Zinn’s teachings on Mindfulness Meditation, which emphasize the practice of sitting in stillness to cultivate awareness and intuitive insight.
