The Role of Slow and Deep Breathing
The nervous, digestive, circulatory, and respiratory systems are interconnected, but the only one we can consciously control is the respiratory system. It is our only tool to calm down, gain time, and increase focus. The task is to experiment with dancing to fast music with quick movements while maintaining concentration and slow breathing after a brief meditation focusing on slow, deep, and calm breathing.
Expected Result: Participants should experience improved control over their focus and calmness even during intense movement.
